Amanda takes a holistic and integrative approach, honoring the full picture of who you are—mind, body, emotions, relationships, and environment. Her work focuses on:

She integrates somatic work, EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), inner child work, and experiential techniques to support deeper insight and healing. Amanda is also trained in Level 1 of the Gottman Method, which she incorporates when working with couples and families to support communication, connection, and understanding.

a Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern (RMFTI)
She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and her certification in Marriage and Family Therapy from Rollins College.
Amanda has extensive experience supporting individuals and families in eating disorder recovery across multiple levels of care, including residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Through this work, she has developed a strong foundation in treating eating disorders alongside related concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, body image, and relational dynamics.
A Bit More About Amanda
Outside of the therapy room, Amanda finds balance through connection, creativity, and time outdoors. She enjoys spending time with her family and their two dogs, kayaking, hiking, and being in nature. She also values creative expression through painting, drawing, and DIY projects. Community and advocacy are central to her work, and she volunteers with the National Alliance for Eating Disorders as a group facilitator, helping create safe, supportive spaces for connection and healing.
