Amanda Bump

I’m really glad you’re here. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, lost, or unsure of who you really are or where you’re headed, you’re not alone.

This stage of life can feel confusing--like you’re trying to figure out your identity, your relationships, and your place in the world, all at once. You might feel pressure to have it all together, while quietly struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, body image, or the weight of past experiences.

Therapy can be a space to slow down and reconnect with yourself, to explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns with curiosity and compassion. Together, we can begin to untangle what’s been holding you back, helping you find your voice, build self-trust, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and aligned.

You don’t have to figure this out on your own.

More about my work...

Amanda Bump is a compassionate and holistic clinician who is passionate about helping people reconnect with their most authentic selves and create lives that feel free, meaningful, and fulfilling. Her approach to therapy honors the whole person (mind, body, emotions, relationships, culture, and environment) recognizing that each of these interconnected pieces plays an important role in the healing process.

Amanda draws from a range of evidence-based and experiential modalities to meet clients where they are. Her work integrates somatic techniques, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), inner child work, and experiential methods to foster deep insight and emotional growth. She is also trained in Level 1 of the Gottman Method, which she incorporates into her work with couples and families to support connection, communication, and understanding.

Amanda is a registered mental health counseling intern and registered marriage and family therapy intern. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and certification in Marriage and Family Therapy from Rollins College. Her background includes extensive experience supporting individuals and families in eating disorder recovery across multiple levels of care, including residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Through this work, she has developed a strong foundation in eating disorder treatment and a broad range of skills to support concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, body image, relationship and family dynamics, self-esteem, and identity exploration.

Outside of her clinical work, Amanda finds joy and balance through time with her family and their two dogs. She loves being outdoors, whether kayaking, hiking, or simply enjoying nature, and finds creativity and calm in painting, drawing, and tackling new DIY projects. Advocacy and community are central to her values, and she proudly volunteers with the National Alliance for Eating Disorders as a group facilitator, creating safe, supportive spaces for connection and healing.
