Emily Moore, MS, RDN, LD/N

Registered Dietitian in Orlando, FL helping with Eating Disorders & Sports Nutrition

Emily Moore is a registered dietitian in Orlando, Florida providing nutrition support at Inclusive Healing Center for individuals navigating eating disorders and disordered eating. With experience in nutrition education and counseling, Emily brings both clinical depth and a genuine curiosity about the many ways people find their way back to a peaceful relationship with food.

Emily also works with athletes, helping them learn to adequately fuel their activity and training without losing sight of a sustainable, non-diet approach to eating. If you've struggled to find a sports nutrition provider who understands both performance demands and the realities of disordered eating, Emily's background bridges that gap.

What She Helps With

Emily specializes in working with:

  • Eating disorders, disordered eating, and REDS

  • Athletes and active individuals navigating fueling or disordered eating patterns

  • Chronic dieting and food rules

  • Building a sustainable, non-restrictive relationship with food

Approach to Nutrition Counseling

Emily's approach is weight-inclusive, non diet, and food-first. Her work focuses on:

  • helping clients reconnect with hunger, fullness, and internal cues rather than external rules

  • building sustainable habits instead of short-term fixes

  • creating a space where food can be approached with curiosity instead of guilt

She believes healing a relationship with food looks different for everyone, and that lasting change comes from support that feels realistic instead of rigid.

Training and Background

Emily brings both academic and clinical experience to her work. She is:

  • a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)

  • a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist, licensed in Florida, Illinois, and Georgia

  • a graduate of the University of Delaware, with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, a Master of Science in Human Nutrition, and a Certificate in Health Coaching

  • a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD)

Prior to joining Inclusive Healing Center, Emily spent nearly 12 years in higher education as a professor of Human Nutrition and 4 years as a sports dietitian, working directly with over 200 collegiate student-athletes on fueling, body image, and disordered eating concerns.

A Bit More About Emily

Outside of her work, Emily finds a lot of her own joy in food through growing it. She tends a Florida food forest at home and serves as President of the Board of Directors for Florida Giving Gardens, a nonprofit supporting community gardens throughout Volusia County. She also loves spending time with her husband, visiting her college-aged daughters in New Hampshire when she can, and training for her next triathlon with her dog by her side.
